WHEELS AND WINGS - September 21, 2024

This is the fourth year of this event at Boire Field (formerly Touch-A-Truck) and it drew over 4,000 attendees to our terrific airport! There were several aircraft to check out which included the NH Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter, Civil Air Patrol Cessna, two (2) Navion Airplanes, Bob Donadio's Cessna 414, Farrell Woods Extra 300, and Air Direct's BE-76 Duchess. Also the event included a magic show, bounce house and dozens of vehicles.  Again, we asked attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to charity and we received over $550.00 of food for End 68 Hours of Hunger which is a program to end childhood hunger.

This was the sixth year of this event at Boire Field (formerly Touch-A-Truck)!  It is always a great opportunity for children to touch, climb and ask questions! We had vehicles from the public service, emergency, utility, and construction.

UPCOMING EVENTS

It was an awesome afternoon for our Customer Appreciation BBQ!  The weather was perfect and it was really great to see so many people from the Airport Community! We look forward to next year!

The Nashua Airport was honored to have had the opportunity to host the Collings Foundation "The Wings of Freedom Tour" on September 27th through the 29th was a huge success.  The tour included  the B-17 Flying Fortress, P-40 Warhawk, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell and P-51 Mustang. Thank  you to all who came!

WINGS OF FREEDOM TOUR - September 27 - 29, 2019

What a fantastic event! The Nashua Airport was honored to have the opportunity to host the Commemorative Air Force AirPower History Tour.  The weather was perfect and the attendance was outstanding! Being in the presence of FIFI, one of only two Superfortress' flying in the world today, was amazing in itself.  Many attendees experienced the thrill of flying on the B-29 (FIFI), C-45 (Bucket of Bolts), and the T-6 (Nella). We look forward to hosting future CAF tours!
